She worked around the elements. Doll even used the wind and noise to her advantage. We talked and shared poetry about no matter the problem (like we were experiencing—if you can, use it to your advantage or somehow work around it. Don’t let it stop you from doing what’s need to be done.) The poetry was fitting involving activist, Dorothy Heights, maintaining positive friendships, marriage isn’t old fashion (put a ring on it), and remembering Michael Jackson. Joyce

Antique cups & saucers were used. Doll rehearsed me prior to the show. Took her instructions and rehearsed the other poets. The show is popular with all age groups and is shown--even now 3 years later. People often say to me they were touched by the beauty and positivity of the poems. The other poets say say similar. This couldn’t happen without Doll. The preparation, professionalism was the key. Doll has taught me much about quality work. With Doll influence, I put together my own poetry event. I don’t believe this would have happened if I never met Doll. Joyce

I have edited well over 20 episodes of her shows. She's done almost 100 shows. She has been doing this for years. I wouldn't say she is just some silly dreamer.
